Energy Derby

Energy Derby is an event where you design a car that moves off a ramp and can go a distance. You want to have your vehicle move farther than any others. We did this project as a class. Many students were disappointed when they heard that there would be no kits involved, but they probably had more fun creating their own car, special to their own personality, customized however they like it. We will have this contest on Tuesday, and most cars will be ready.
